How we Started
Elevate Medspa stemmed from the shared vision of two longtime friends, Angel and Ebony. With a friendship spanning over 25 years, their journey began in the healthcare field. They discovered a passion for both aesthetics and helping others feel their best. Seeking a more fulfilling path where they could combine their love for aesthetics and wellness, they founded Elevate Medspa.

Meet Ebony Elam
MSN, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC, Co-Owner
Ebony's dedication to healthcare began at 16 years old, completing her Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program a week before graduating from high school, she then went on to become a Registered Nurse in 2011. Driven to expand her knowledge and expertise, she earned a master’s degree in nursing from Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) and a Post-Master's Certification from Ursuline College
Ebony also shared her passion for nursing education as an instructor at CWRU and Bryant and Stratton College. Her diverse nursing background includes working in geriatrics, psychiatry, cardiac, and internal medicine, where she cultivated a holistic approach to patient care
Along the way, she discovered a love for beauty and aesthetic treatments, leading her to pursue specialized injectable training at the American Academy of Facial Esthetics. Ebony believes in a collaborative approach, working closely with you to develop a personalized experience and tailored treatment plan that addresses your unique needs and helps you achieve your aesthetic goals.
Meet Angel Perry
LPN, Licensed Esthetician, Co-Owner
Angel Perry, brings a unique blend of healthcare expertise and aesthetic artistry to Elevate Medspa, with a focus on both corrective and preventative skincare and professional makeup application. A licensed practical nurse since 2011 and licensed as an esthetician in 2020
Angel blends healthcare experience with her passion for beauty in her esthetics practice where she focuses on helping others look and feel their best. Angel, alongside her business partner, co-created Elevate Medspa to provide a space where beauty and wellness intertwine. She is committed to continually expanding her expertise through ongoing education in all facets of the medical spa industry. Angel believes in empowering clients with knowledge to make informed decisions about their skin and is excited to partner with you on your aesthetic journey, offering personalized care and expert guidance every step of the way

Spa Manager
Staci Jones is the dedicated Spa Manger at Elevate Medspa and plays a vital role ensuring the spa runs smoothly and efficiently. She is the friendly face and pleasant voice you hear who handles behind the scenes, supporting both clients and staff. Whether it’s managing daily operations or answering questions, Staci is the go-to for all things Elevate. She ensures the smooth and efficient running of the medspa while fostering a welcoming atmosphere where clients feel valued, the team thrives, and everyone feels confident in achieving their aesthetic goals
Meet Gennifer H
Client Experience and Content Coordinator
Gennifer Hurtt serves as the Client Experience & Content Coordinator at Elevate Medspa, playing a crucial role in enhancing the overall patient experience at our medical spa. She is tasked with creating engaging and informative content that educates and empowers patients, while also acting as a liaison to facilitate positive patient interactions and address any concerns. Gennifer has a strong passion for aesthetics, exceptional communication skills, and excels in managing content and events.
In addition to her role at Elevate Medspa, she works full-time as an Executive Assistant and is a part-time Certified Mat & Reformer Pilates Instructor. Gennifer particularly enjoys creative consulting, logistical planning, and telecommunication projects.
Meet sheila P
Licensed Esthetician & Permanent Makeup Specialist
With over five years of experience as a licensed esthetician and a background in healthcare administration, Sheila brings a unique blend of expertise, care, and passion to her clients. She specializes in skincare, semi-permanent lash styling, eyebrow waxing, eyebrow tinting. Known for her warm, inviting approach, Sheila offers an atmosphere where clients feel at ease, creating a positive, relaxing experience from start to finish. Sheila genuinely enjoys enhancing her clients' natural beauty, helping them look and feel their best, inside and out and you will be met with exceptional customer service, a keen eye for detail, and an experience that radiates positivity and warmth.
Meet Aaliyah J
BSN, RN
With over 10 years of experience in the beauty industry, Aaliyah has always had a strong passion for beauty and aesthetics. Starting her career in the beauty industry at the age of 15 years old, she took on the development of becoming a professional makeup artist freelancing in Cleveland Ohio. At the age of 20, she further expanded her skill set and earned her Advanced Esthetician license at Brown Aveda Institute
Aaliyah has worked with many professionals in the Cleveland and Columbus Ohio area and is knowledgeable with many skincare products such as ZO skincare, Skin Better Science, Alastin, and many more. She developed her skills in the aesthetics field by gaining experience as a medical esthetician while finishing nursing school to obtain her bachelor’s in science and nursing at Ursuline College.
Meet Shavaun G
MSN, APRN, FNP-C. Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner
Shavaun is a Cleveland native who began her career in 2007 as a perioperative licensed practical nurse at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus. She completed an LPN to Bachelor of Science in Nursing Bridge Program at Ursuline College and became a registered nurse in 2014. She continued her perioperative nursing career with the Cleveland Clinic providing both preoperative and post anesthesia nursing care to patients of all surgical specialties. Shavaun was always seeking opportunities to advance her skills, so she obtained an additional position working on the Cleveland Clinic PICC Team
In 2020, Shavaun graduated from Ursuline College with a Master of Science in Nursing after completing the Family Nurse Practitioner Program. During her studies, she obtained a specialty practicum with the Cleveland Clinic Plastic Surgery Institute inspired by her passion for plastic surgery and aesthetics. In 2021, Shavaun began her aesthetic nurse practitioner career working at Milan Laser Hair Removal. She then became a member of the American Academy of Facial Aesthetics where she received injector training. She then went on to work at Apex Dermatology as an Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner to which she gained a wealth of knowledge in medical aesthetics.
Shavaun joined Elevate MedSpa in January 2024. Her passion for skin care and performing beauty enhancements shines through her work
Loren R
BSN, RN
Loren is a Registered Nurse with a passion for skincare and aesthetics. Throughout her nursing career Loren has enjoyed making positive changes for her patients in critical care, procedural specialties, and plastic surgery centers.
In addition to her education, Loren holds professional training in a variety of aesthetic treatments. She’s obtained professional aesthetic certificates at the National Laser Institute specializing in laser therapies, injectables, PDO threads, Kybella and Sclerotherapy. Complimentary to her aesthetic training, Loren has completed clinical training in dermatology during her graduate education as she endorses healthy skin while achieving desired aesthetic results
